I was born at a young age and raised on a small farm in the tiny town of Naches Washington where you can experience all four seasons. I grew up in the same farm house my father grew up in. I had both of my parents as teachers in school where my grandmother once taught. The first time I ever saw the Ocean was when the family station wagon crested the hill that drops down into Cannon Beach. I was a freshman in High School. I knew then that I wanted to live my life by the sea. The family car never made it back to the beach, but I did. In college I spent my summers working in Cannon Beach. After receiving my teaching license from Central Washington University, and my Masters from Lesley University, I interviewed for a job at Seaside School District. I have been now teaching for 20+ years and loving it. Most importantly I am the husband of Erin and the father of three incredible children; Liliana, Grayson, and Dutch.
