This is my 4th year teaching 2nd grade!
What’s your favorite subject to teach?
I love to teach math and social emotional skills.
What was your favorite subject when you were in school?
My favorite subject was always math, but I also loved science experiments.
Favorite hobby?
I love to take walks on the beach, cook, and spend time with my nieces and nephews.
Favorite book?
Be You by Peter Reyonlds.
Favorite coffee drink?
I don't drink coffee, but I love peppermint hot chocolate.
Who was your favorite teacher & why? OR What made you want to become a teacher?
My favorite teacher was my 4th grade teacher Mr. Fagerstaedt. He pushed us to try new things and we had a lot of fun together as a class. He also made sure every student had what they needed to be successful.
If I had an extra $10 to spend on your classroom, I would buy: A new read aloud or new fine tip black expo markers.
If I had an extra $10 to spend on myself, I would buy: Candy. I love anything Reese's or Sour Patch Kids
If I could pick a gift card to any store/restaurant, I would choose: Beach Books or El Trio Loco
