Where did you go to school? I completed my Bachelor’s Degree at Hainan University in Early Childhood Education. I have also completed my Master’s Degree at George Fox University in Elementary Education.
How long have you been teaching and what grade levels? I have taught kindergarten for three years. I love it and I wouldn’t trade it. Kindergarten is my special place!
What’s your favorite subject to teach? I love teaching and learning all areas with my students. I’m especially passionate about bringing the kiddos out in nature. We are so fortunate to have our natural “playground” around our school.
What was your favorite subject when you were in school? I always loved learning English and world cultures.
Favorite hobby? In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my two corgis “Dumpling” and “Yoyo”. We go on hikes and we play fetch together. Cooking and doing crafts always make my heart happy too.
Favorite color? Pink!
Favorite book? The Little Prince
Who was your favorite teacher & why? OR What made you want to become a teacher? Being a teacher is truly a childhood dream come true for me. One of my favorite childhood memories is when my cousin and I played school and took turns to be the teacher/student during summer. Those memories motivate me to bring my best everyday and become a better teacher. I’m proud to bring that passion to my classroom and my students.
