"Hello! I am very excited to be a special education teacher with Pacific Ridge Elementary this year. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Portland State and will finish my master’s degree at Pacfic University in May. I am new to the Seaside area, but my parents have been in the community for awhile, and the coast has always been home for me. Before becoming a teacher, I was an instructional assistant for both a resource and a structured learning classroom, and I currently help my parents run two foster homes for adults with developmental disabilities. I love books and art; I read all the time and paint with acrylics occasionally in my free time. I adore my goofy, five-year-old chocolate lab named Moose. I am looking forward to this year, and I know we will all work together to make it memorable! "
