This is my eighth year as an elementary principal in the Seaside School District and my 2nd year as principal at our new Pacific Ridge Elementary School. Both Gearhart Elementary and Seaside Heights Elementary were amazing schools with highly qualified and dedicated staff and I am excited to continue to merge our two school communities together this upcoming 2021-2022 school year at Pacific Ridge Elementary School! I truly feel lucky to be working in this very special community!
Throughout my career in education I have taught 2nd-6th grades and also worked as a Teacher on Special Assignment(TOSA). I earned my teaching degree from Western Oregon University in Monmouth, Oregon. In addition, I have a masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction and another in Educational Leadership from Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho.
I LOVE my job! I come from a family of educators. Both of my parents were teachers and eventually became principals. My sister's are also in education as well. My older sister teaches kindergarten in Salem, Oregon and my little sister is an elementary counselor in Oregon City, Oregon.
I have an amazingly supportive husband, two wonderful kids and a spoiled miniature dachshund! In my spare time I enjoy reading, snow skiing and playing board games with my family.
